Music is just like sunlight able to influence the production and output of serotonine. Serotonine is a body’s transmitter, which is accountable for the feelings of human beings. Too much of it may cause aggression, too little of it depression. The right balance is important.

Listening to the self-titled 4-track-cd or experiencing a stirring and affecting concert of serotonine, everyone will be able to see how the band’s name refers to the music: The band plays and arranges modern, atmospheric rockmusic with vehemence and intensity which seeks for one’s kind.
In the foreground there is the voice of the singer Wanja Hvorov. He was already complimented a highly talented singer by famous German Magazine VISIONS. Wanja’s voice will affect your emotions directly with its melancholic expression and its characteristic melodies.
The sound changes between a driving vehemence and atmospheric sounds conditioned by Markus Dentz’ magnificent guitarplay and the dynamic drumbeat of Stephan Kappler and the groove of bass-player Elliot Zaiss. Elliot furthermore plays atmospheric but never overdosed sythesizer sounds. Serotonine don’t mind to be compared to mainstream bands from the alternative rock sector. But they have undoubtedly found their own way of making music.
Markus and Wanja had already called the attention of magazines and labels with their previous band “love under will”. After the split of “love under will” both musicians have founded their new band called “serotonine”. After a quite a short time of serotonine’s existence, they had written enough excellent songs to go to a professional recording-studio. „Philomela“, „Feel“, „Angel Talk“ and „Back in Again“ ahev been recorder in a professional manner, which you’re invited to listen to on the 4-track-cd.
Serotonine has presented themselfes with positive reactions of the audience and the press since then (compare attachements). There have been airplays in the radio-show “lautstark”, which is a programme on a major German broadcast station called DASDING. Serotonine has recieved a very positive review in German magazine “Gitarre&Bass”. Last but not least, serotonine will play some major festivals in Germany and France in the summer of 2004 – a huge success for a young band without a record-deal.

Plans for the future are touring and getting known by a wider public in Germany and other European countries. The major concern is to find suitable partners in the music business.
Serotonine will make a name for oneself in the music business:
